Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

PI-COOL GT respects the privacy of its users and seeks to explain clearly how information is collected, used, shared, retained, and protected when users access or use the platform.

This Privacy Policy applies to the PI-COOL GT website, application, live transmissions, profiles, maps, location features, nearby places, chat, and related services.

By creating an account or using PI-COOL GT, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Your use of the platform is also subject to our Terms of Service.

1. Data controller and responsible entity

PI-COOL GT is currently in its MVP development and preparation stage.

The legal identity, business address, country of incorporation, and formal contact information of the entity responsible for the platform will be added before the official public commercial launch.

Until that information is established, privacy-related questions and requests will be handled through the official contact channel that PI-COOL GT makes available.

Information to be completed before commercial launch:

  • legal name of the responsible entity;
  • legal or business address;
  • country of incorporation;
  • official privacy contact email.

2. Information we may collect

The information collected or processed depends on the features used and may include the categories described below.

2.1 Account and registration information

When a user creates an account, PI-COOL GT may collect:

  • email address;
  • username;
  • display name;
  • internal account identifier;
  • profile image or avatar;
  • information voluntarily provided by the user;
  • account creation and update dates.

Passwords are managed through secure authentication systems and should not be stored by PI-COOL GT as readable plain text.

2.2 Authentication through third parties

If a user signs in through an external provider, such as Google, PI-COOL GT may receive information authorized by the user and provided by that service, which may include:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • profile image;
  • authentication identifier.

PI-COOL GT does not necessarily receive or have access to the password used with the external provider.

2.3 Profile information

Users may provide information to personalize their profiles, including:

  • display name;
  • username;
  • profile photograph or avatar;
  • biographical description;
  • country, city, or other public information;
  • preferences related to platform use.

Users should avoid publishing personal information that they do not want other users to see.

3. Camera and microphone

PI-COOL GT may request access to a device's camera and microphone when a user chooses to start a live transmission.

These permissions may be used to:

  • capture live video;
  • capture live audio;
  • transmit audiovisual content in real time;
  • allow viewers to watch and listen to a transmission.

Access requires authorization through the user's browser, operating system, or device.

PI-COOL GT does not intentionally activate the camera or microphone without a valid user action or permission.

When a transmission ends, the platform will seek to stop the active resources used for capture. Users may also manage or revoke camera and microphone permissions through their browser or device settings.

4. Live video and audio

During a live transmission, video and audio may be processed in real time so that the content can be delivered to viewers.

Depending on the platform architecture and available features:

  • content may be transmitted in real time;
  • content may be temporarily processed by technology and infrastructure providers;
  • live video and audio may not be recorded or permanently stored;
  • future features may allow recordings, replays, clips, or other forms of storage.

PI-COOL GT does not currently represent that every live transmission is recorded or permanently stored.

If recording, replay, or clip features are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and appropriate notice will be provided.

5. Location information

Location is a central feature of PI-COOL GT and helps connect live transmissions with maps, destinations, nearby places, and contextual information.

When a user grants permission, PI-COOL GT may collect or process:

  • latitude;
  • longitude;
  • estimated location accuracy;
  • city;
  • country;
  • approximate location name;
  • location changes during a live transmission.

Location information may be used to:

  • display the location associated with a transmission;
  • update the explorer's position during a transmission;
  • represent a location on a map;
  • identify nearby places and points of interest;
  • display contextual or geographic information;
  • improve discovery of destinations and experiences.

Location accuracy depends on the device, GPS signal, browser, internet connection, permissions, and third-party services. Location information may be approximate.

Important location notice

Sharing location during a live transmission may allow viewers to identify the area from which an explorer is transmitting. Explorers should consider personal safety, privacy, and the sensitivity of the location before starting or continuing a transmission.

6. Location permission and user control

PI-COOL GT requests authorization before accessing location information through the mechanisms provided by the browser, operating system, or device.

Users may:

  • allow or deny location access;
  • modify location permissions;
  • revoke location access;
  • limit access through browser or device settings.

Certain features may be unavailable or may not function as intended if location access is denied or disabled.

When an explorer starts a transmission with location enabled, the explorer acknowledges that related information may be shown to viewers through maps, location names, nearby places, and other contextual features.

7. Transmission information

PI-COOL GT may store information associated with a transmission, including:

  • title and description;
  • category and tags;
  • transmission identifier;
  • the explorer associated with the transmission;
  • live or ended status;
  • start and end dates and times;
  • transmission duration;
  • viewer count;
  • associated location information;
  • live-room identifiers;
  • information necessary to operate the service.

Certain transmission information may be retained after a live transmission ends when reasonably necessary for platform operation, security, statistics, moderation, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

8. Chat, reports, and user interactions

When users access social and interactive features, PI-COOL GT may collect or process:

  • chat messages;
  • message dates and times;
  • the account associated with a message;
  • the related transmission;
  • follows and other public interactions;
  • reports and report details;
  • information reasonably necessary for moderation.

Messages posted in a live chat may be visible to other users.

Users should not share passwords, financial information, private contact information, or other sensitive information through public chat features.

9. Technical and usage information

PI-COOL GT and its technology providers may process technical and usage information, which may include:

  • IP address;
  • browser type;
  • operating system;
  • device type;
  • technical identifiers;
  • error and diagnostic logs;
  • platform activity;
  • access dates and times;
  • connection and performance information;
  • security-related information.

This information may be used to operate, secure, diagnose, maintain, and improve the platform.

10. How we use information

PI-COOL GT may use information to:

  • create, authenticate, and manage accounts;

PI-COOL GT will not use personal information for incompatible purposes without providing any notice or consent required by applicable law.

11. Technology and service providers

PI-COOL GT uses or may use third-party providers to operate specific functions. Providers currently integrated into the platform include:

  • Supabase, for authentication, database services, real-time data, and related functions;
  • LiveKit, for real-time video and audio infrastructure;
  • mapping and geolocation services;
  • geographic and nearby-place information providers;
  • weather-information providers;
  • hosting, infrastructure, diagnostic, and security providers.

These providers may process information according to the services used by PI-COOL GT, applicable agreements, and their own privacy practices.

The list of providers may change as the platform evolves.

12. When information may be shared

PI-COOL GT may share information when reasonably necessary to:

  • operate and provide requested platform functions;
  • work with technology and service providers;
  • protect platform and user security;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activity;
  • investigate possible violations;
  • comply with a valid legal obligation or request;
  • protect the rights and safety of users or third parties;
  • complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or business transfer, subject to applicable protections.

PI-COOL GT does not sell users' personal information to advertisers.

If advertising or data practices change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before materially different practices are implemented.

13. Information visible to other users

Depending on platform use and privacy settings, other users may be able to see:

  • username and display name;
  • profile image or avatar;
  • public profile information;
  • live transmissions;
  • transmission titles and descriptions;
  • location associated with a transmission;
  • city, country, or approximate place information;
  • live-chat messages;
  • public follows and interactions;
  • viewer counts;
  • information that the user chooses to publish.

Users should review the information they share and avoid publishing information they do not want to make visible to others.

14. Data retention

PI-COOL GT may retain information for the period reasonably necessary to:

  • provide and maintain the service;
  • manage user accounts;
  • operate platform features;
  • respond to requests and disputes;
  • prevent fraud and abuse;
  • investigate reports;
  • protect platform and user security;
  • comply with legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, operational requirements, security needs, and applicable law.

Before commercial launch, PI-COOL GT will define internal retention periods for account information, chat messages, location records, technical logs, reports, and related data.

15. Data security

PI-COOL GT will apply reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information.

Depending on the platform's development and infrastructure, these measures may include:

  • authentication systems;
  • access controls;
  • encrypted communications;
  • database security policies;
  • restricted permissions;
  • technical monitoring;
  • security updates and maintenance.

No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. Users are also responsible for protecting their credentials, accounts, browsers, and devices.

16. User privacy rights and requests

Depending on where a user resides and the laws that apply, the user may have rights related to:

  • access to personal information;
  • correction and updating;
  • deletion;
  • restriction of processing;
  • objection to certain processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdrawal of consent;
  • filing a complaint with an appropriate authority.

Privacy-related requests may be submitted through the official PI-COOL GT contact email at contacto@picoolgt.com. Certain requests may require identity verification to protect users and prevent unauthorized access to personal information.

17. Account deletion

PI-COOL GT will provide a method for users to request deletion of their accounts and associated personal information, subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, and record-retention exceptions.

Deletion may not be immediate when information must reasonably be retained because of an active report, investigation, dispute, security concern, fraud-prevention requirement, or legal obligation.

An account-deletion mechanism must be available before the official public commercial launch.

18. Children and minimum age

PI-COOL GT is not currently intended for users under 18 years of age.

PI-COOL GT does not seek to knowingly collect personal information from underage users through unauthorized accounts.

If PI-COOL GT becomes aware that an account belongs to a person who does not meet the applicable age requirements, the platform may restrict or remove the account and take other appropriate measures.

Future versions may introduce specific parental authorization, age-verification, and enhanced protection mechanisms.

19. International data processing

PI-COOL GT's technology and service providers may process information in different countries.

Where required, reasonable mechanisms will be used to protect information in accordance with applicable law.

Use of PI-COOL GT may involve international data processing because of the global nature of internet infrastructure, technology providers, and live transmissions.

20. Changes to this Privacy Policy

PI-COOL GT may update this Privacy Policy because of legal, technical, operational, safety, or commercial changes, including the introduction of new features.

When changes are material, PI-COOL GT will seek to provide notice through the platform or another reasonable method. The latest update date will appear at the beginning of this page.
